About the Think Green Programme.

Programme TG, also known as the Think Green Programme, is a visionary seven-year endeavour designed to raise awareness among the people of Zambia about the critical concept of "thinking green." Our mission is clear: to inspire individuals to carefully consider their daily actions, lifestyles, and occupations concerning the environment. At the heart of our project lies a bold ambition: to plant 1,000,000 trees by the year 2030. Through this ambitious tree-planting campaign, we aim to nurture a greener, more sustainable future for Zambia and its inhabitants. In a significant stride towards our goal, the Worldview Institute has forged a partnership with the Ministry of Education. Together, we are spearheading an initiative called Shanga, focused on empowering the youth. As part of this collaboration, we will plant 150,000 trees in schools across Zambia, cultivating a culture of environmental stewardship from a young age. About Shanga.

The Shanga Project, an implementing arm of our flagship programme called the Think Green Project, is a youth initiative aimed at teaching and involving youths in sustainability and environmental stewardship. The Shanga Project focuses on planting 150,000 trees in Zambian schools, with a total projected cost of K9,750,000. Our target is to reach 1,500 schools across the country.
